ISTE24 On-Site User Testing Fundraiser
Come learn how your edtech product is being received by under represented students while supporting local Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.
We are inviting 10 Edtech companies to test their products at Denver Public Schools during ISTE24. All proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.
We can only design for the students we know.
At mPath, we help companies co-create with diverse, struggling students. We are giving select Edtech companies an opportunity to see how their product is used in the wild.
Watch how students engage with your platform in a Title 1 afterschool program at DPS.
Observe children’s subconscious emotional responses with sensors developed at MIT.
Use Eye Tracking to see how students are reacting to your product.
Discuss with students how to improve your product.
Receive professional advice from Dr. Elliott Hedman who will be there to help oversee your experience.
Come see why working with students is critical to the future of your product.
Dr. Elliott Hedman was recently featured in an Edsurge article, calling for more companies to test and build their products directly with students they serve:
Learning Designers Call for More User Testing of Edtech Products and Teaching Materials
We are doubling down on this ethos at ISTE and offering Edtech companies a heavily discounted opportunity to see how their product works with student’s whose voice is seldomly heard.
Space and time slots are limited, so please apply now.
For our clients like McGraw Hill and the LEGO Group, we charge $5,000 for this half-day assessment. We are asking companies to only pay $2,500 (though you can donate more if you like). All proceeds will be donated directly to the Boys & Girls Club you visit.
Your Product Tour includes:
Transportation to and from the Denver Convention Center to a Denver Public School.
120 Minutes of Observations and Interviews with students. We can test students from 1st Grade to 9th Grade
A debrief with Dr. Elliott Hedman on what we observed over some authentic Denver tacos.
We ask that you give a $2,500 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver for this opportunity.
The goal of this discounted offering is to help show companies the power of testing their products directly with diverse students who struggle in reading and math while raising money for the Boys & Girls Club.
*Please Note that this tour is not directly affiliated with ISTE.
